Printing guide
A practical path from dimensions to a fitted print.
1. Measure the item
Measure the largest width, depth, and height, then add enough clearance to remove it comfortably. Start from inside dimensions.
2. Print the fit gauge first
Board finish and printer extrusion vary. Pick the combination that inserts without force and does not lift out easily.
3. Choose walls and bottom
The PLA default uses 1.6 mm side walls and a 4.0 mm back. Open bottom removes the floor while keeping all four walls. The hook stays 4.8 mm thick through its curved bend and spreads load into the back panel.
4. Preview, print, and test
Check the dividers and hooks in 3D, print with the box floor on the build plate, and enable support under the hooks. Test low on the board with light items first.
